Reviews about Country Supplies

Easy to use website, competitive prices, helpful, friendly delivery driver and sales staff. The product was great and I have no hesitation in recommending Country Supplies!

County Supplies is excellent in that it does what it does, at great prices, and with a minimum of fuss. Delivery and turnaround is excellent; they are basically in the business of getting materials on site for tradesmen as quick as possible. Here's the HEADLINE; It is a trade outlet that also sells to the public. It's generally a mass of large haulage trucks and trade vans picking up materials to complete the big jobs around your homes (that you are probably paying a tradesman to do.) If you know what you want, you like good prices, you march up to the desk and place your order then it's happy days. If you want to wonder about aimlessly trying to figure out what you want then go to Wickes; it's all laid out beautifully with wide isles there for you to see everything on display, and you pay more than double the price for that luxury. The exception at Country is the paving; they have a good display outside so you can chose what you want. Again, remember it's a trade place, paving normally comes in "packs" so if you want just one or two slabs this is not the place for you. The idea of that display is that you tell your tradesman what you want and they will sort out the details. In summary; if you know what you want, buy from Country Supplies. If you are not sure, go somewhere else. Customer service applies accordingly; if you are regularly purchasing thousands of pounds worth of materials and the transactions are swift, they are more than accommodating when / if something goes wrong. If you're a punter off the street who wants to drop a few hundred quid on some wood and paving, and take hours of their time to help get the order right, they are not going to be that interested. Again, go to Wickes for that; they have loads of staff wondering around to provide (ahem) customer service (apart from that one knowledgeable guy in each store).
